The watered museum cardboard was stretched onto a canvas frame. The painting technique corresponds to the techniques of light painting on overhead projectors. The colors are highly lightfast from Schmincke Horadam.
This is a sketch for a performance in the 1990s that was only elaborated much later.

The sketch fell victim to water damage, so I was forced to either forget about it or save it and transfer it. I had just stretched handmade paper onto a canvas frame for an event seminar at a school, and before this artifact from the last century could be lost forever, I took what was there and transferred the enlarged sketch onto the stretched sheet.
