Today I’m looking for a blue that can’t quite make up its mind.

Every space carries a sense of anticipation before anyone even steps inside.

Children are the only exception.

Children play the same way everywhere — no matter the continent, the country, the town or the family. It’s the buildings that turn those moments into different stories.

At first I was thinking about shadowy figures.

That didn’t work at all. It was simply too complicated. When I project directly with the second projector, the silhouettes appear almost by themselves.

And when I switch off the first projector, those silhouettes slowly become people. But the paint is still a little too fluid. It won’t let them become lively children yet. That’s where I want to go.

An elevator should become the catalyst.

Yes… that works. Now I only have to make the children and the elevator more distinct — as simply as possible.
